Who We Are

Together We Grow is a program for Preschoolers and Pre-Kindergartners preparing them for their transition to Kindergarten. Our curriculum principles create an interactive environment encouraging children to develop, thrive, and be successful. Our teachers strive to build independence, respect and character by initiating positive relationships amongst the children.

Together We Grow has been in existence for twenty nine years, beginning in Watertown, MA and relocated to Wellesley, MA in 2002. Each year, the teachers enthusiastically prepare our program with values that continue to develop a safe, nurturing and educational friendly environment. Preschoolers are given the opportunity to build relationships with the Pre- Kindergartners offering a wonderful peer role model to ease their adjustment into school.The teachers encourage this relationship to facilitate connections for Preschoolers to grow and learn through observations and role modeling.

Each day the children come to circle time where stories are read and social competency is developed. This is expressed and role played through literacy tools, puppets and simply with a voice of assurance that TWG is a safe and loving place to grow and learn. Recognizing the simple learning opportunities and stimulating thinking through creative academic activities is where awe moments are shared.

It’s important to feel at ease when your child is placed in the care of other individuals. Here is some information about us in hopes to assure you that your children are in the hands of very capable professionals with the guidance of the Department of Early Education and Care as our licensing authority.

  • Director & Lead Teacher

    Ms Lisa contributes the success of this program to the education she received at Lesley University and the pleasure she experiences working with 3, 4 and 5 year old’s, which she refers to as the “awe-inspiring age” of young children. She has a unique love for children books as she magically transforms story telling into imaginative play. Through the years, she has found spending time with young children uplifting as they immerse in hand on exposures and discoveries. She believes offering rich language and literacy experiences to young children as the best way to ensure success as readers is an exceptional asset to our program. Her goal is to tap into children’s enthusiasm for learning by building their self-esteem, knowing how early childhood education has a huge impact on future academic success.

  • Teacher

    Miss Chiara is a Preschool Teacher certified by the Department of Early Education & Care. She is a young, creative, gifted and talented individual. She is a wonderful storyteller; her imagination and expressive skills serve her well. It’s exciting to see her in action as she develops social and emotional confidence, listening skills and a wonder for fun hands on learning to our students. Given her passion for music, she leads our daily music and movement activities. Miss Chiara sings, plays piano and the ukulele. She’s also fascinated with sensory and science explorations, her love for nature creates environmental friendly sensory experiences which enhances TWG’s program and offers our students a dynamic joy for learning.
